Recap: 2025 Asian Literary Festival

From October 3-5, 2025, Galerie Bortier was filled with books, writers, readers and discussions about literature. The Asian Literary Festival brought writers and thinkers from around the world to the heart of this ancient place, and for three days, the air under its glass roof was alive with book talks, readings and lively conversations.
It was truly wonderful to see so many of you there, engaging with the stories and ideas that travelled across continents to reach us. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along to the festival – your enthusiasm and curiosity made it all worthwhile.
To the authors who shared their work, their insights and their time with us: thank you for bringing your voices to Brussels and for enriching our literary community. Your words will continue to resonate long after the festival has ended.
